Beginner’s Archery Course 

The course consists of four 90 min practice sessions. This course will provide you with a solid foundation for an enjoyable and suitable hobby.

During the course, you will learn the basics of archery using target bows. After completing the course, you will have the option to continue practicing with rental equipment. Regular advanced courses are also available for participants who have completed the beginner’s course. The recommended minimum age for the beginner’s course is 13 years.

Course price: €99. The course requires a minimum of four participants to proceed.

Trial Sessions:

Come and try archery at the Helsinki Archery Hall!

At the archery hall, you can experience archery under safe and expert guidance. All necessary shooting equipment will be provided. We recommend wearing flat-soled shoes and a t-shirt. The recommended age for trial sessions is 12 years. Younger participants can join when accompanied by an adult.

Trial sessions are conducted using rental equipment. If you wish to bring your own equipment, please arrange it in advance.

General Trial Session  –  Wednesdays 18:00 and Saturdays 12:00

The trial session lasts for 90 min and includes:

  • Professional guidance
  • Instruction in target archery
  • All necessary equipment for the duration of the session (protections, bows, and arrows)

The cost of the trial session is €19. Redemption and reservation is done in advance through the online store. If you want to use mobile payments with sports vouchers or gift cards, please mention this at the bottom of the page. You will receive instructions for making advance payments via email (Smartum, Edenred, ePass).

Family Trial Session

held regularly

  • Mondays at 17:00
  • Wednesdays at 16:30

A private family or group trial session is conducted within your own family or group of friends. This focused trial for a small group lasts for an hour. The family trial session accommodates 2-4 people at a time. Price: €60 for two participants, additional participants €25 each. For larger groups, inquiries can be made through the registration form below.

Intensive Course

In the two-day, seven-hour intensive course, the fundamentals of target archery are covered at a faster pace over two sessions. This course is suitable for individuals with some experience in the sport or those who are comfortable with a faster learning pace.

The recommended minimum age for the intensive course is 15 years.

Course price: €159. The course requires a minimum of four participants to proceed.
